UPPGMET 2015 Notification and Exam Date

U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA), Bareilly invites application for Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance (UPPGMET) for the year 2014-15. UPPGMET 2015 is an yearly exam conducted for admissions to Medical courses.

UPPGMET 2015 Eligibility:

Interested candidates should fulfil following eligibility criteria:
=> The candidate must have completed M.B.B.S. course from an institute duly recognised by Medical Council of India.
=> The Internship of the candidate must be completed before April 01, 2015.
=> he candidate must have his / her registration with State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
=> For NRI / Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical Council of India.
=> Educational Qualification: For Educational Qualification as per the MCI norms
=> 17 years of age of as on 31st December 2015

Mode of Examination

UPPGMET 2015 is Computer Based Test (CBT).

UPPGMET 2015 Important dates section aims to list all important dates such as date of availablity of form, last submission date, result date, counselling date, etc.
Online registration starts: 20th October 2014

Date of Examination UPPGMET 2015: 10th January 2015

Question Papers

=> There will be 250-objective type‚ multiple-choice questions.

=> The UPPGMET-2015 will consist of a maximum 250 marks.

=> Minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in UPPGMET-2015 shall be 50% (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC) and merit shall be determined on the basis of marks secured in UPPGMET-2015. There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.

=> More than one answer marked in OMR answersheet will also be considered wrong answer.
