On line Applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile including the wards of Kashmiri Migrants for the registration of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test - 2014 for admission to first year of undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor's degree in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech. / B.E.) in various Govt. aided Private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan (except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed & Private Universities) for the session 2014-2015.
(i) The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to "SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/ Non Creamy Layer SBC" Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board Secondary Education, Rajasthan/ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
(ii) Subject combination re uired in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech. / B.E course shall be as under:
B.Tech. / B.E. - Physics & Mathematics -
(1) Chemistry
(2) Bio-technology
(3) Computer Science
(4) Biology
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (10+2) in 2014 may also apply.
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1989 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disability (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.
RPET-2014 shall consist of single examination of three hours duration containing 40 objective type questions in each subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics. The total no. of questions will be 120 carrying one mark each. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the test booklet will he both in Hindi as well as in English. RPET-2014 will be conducted on 21' MAY, 2014 (Wednesday) from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon at the centers in the following cities : Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Banner, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Churu, Hindaun City, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota, Pilani, Sikar, Sirohi, Sri Ganganagar, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk and Udaipur.
The applications for RPET-2014 will be accepted online only. The process of online submission of application form for RPE F-2014 shall he carried out through any of the following websites :-

Candidates must perform following activities while submitting the online application form :
i) Cost of RPET-2014 Application Form is Rs. 800/- including the examination fee of RPET-2014
ii) Candidates will contact any e-Mitra / CSC kiosk centre authorized by the Govt of Rajasthan and deposit a sum of Rs.815/- (Rs.800/- against Application form Fess and Rs.15/- for e-Mitra service charges). This amount is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future RPET
iii) The kiosk will generate are I6-digit Token number for the candidate using e-Mitra portal and issue a receipt containing this Token number. Candidates are advised to keep his receipt safely with them for further use
iv) In orders to activate the online application form for entering the required details, the candidate must enter his/her token no. in the appropriate column of the application form
i) Scanned image of his/her Photograph in jpg format (image size maximum up to 100 KB)
ii) Scanned image of his/her Signature in jpg format (image size Maximum up to 50 KB)
iii) Copy of mark sheets of 10th, 11th, & 12th (if passed already) examination
iv) Receipt issued by e-Mitra containing the token number
v) Mobile no of candidate or his / her nearest relative
i) Candidate must read carefully, the instructions of filling the online application form
ii) The entries of online application form must be filled as required
iii) Candidate should ensure that the photo and signature are same as uploaded by the candidate himself
iv) The changes (if required) are allowed in online application form till final submission
v) Web page will not accept any changes after final submission of online application form
Candidate will take the printout of application form, which will be generated by the web portal after final submission
Step-5: Submission of Application Form (Hardcopy) to the RPET-2014 office
i) Attach all required documents as mentioned in checklist given in General Instruction. Write application form no. on each document
ii) It is compulsory to send the application form (hardcopy) along with the photocopy of documents to the following address through Registered / Speed Post (not through courier)

The hard copy of complete application form along with requisite documents must reach at above address latest by 05.00 p.m. of 21st April 2014 irrespective of the fact that whether 21st April 2014 is a working day or not
The hard copy of the Application Form (RPET-2014) received after last date and time shall not be accepted
Note: The candidate must retain one photo copy of complete set of application form with him/her
• Date of commencement for filling of the online application - 31-03-2014
• Last Date of depositing the tees through e-Mitra/CSC network - 14-04-2014
• Date of closure for filling of the online application - 15-04-2014
