University of Calcutta announces admission for Ph.D in Chemical Engineering Programme for 2014 session.

Application invites for Ph.D in Chemical Engineering Programme Admission 2014 at University of Calcutta. Applications are invited for (20 vacancies) admission to the PhD Programme in the Department of Chemical Engineering.


* B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
* B.E /B.Tech Degree with valid GATE score as well as candidates having M.E./M.Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering are exempted from the Admission Test

How to Apply

Candidates are requested to submit the filled in application form for the admission to the PhD program downloaded from the website of the University of Calcutta ( The filled in form should be submitted only after paying Rs.100/- in the University Cash Counter (as application fee for Ph.D admission) through a challan obtainable from the cash counter at C.U. duly forwarded by any faculty member of the department with seal
