Application invites for Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) at National Institute of Rural Development and Panchyati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad for 2015 sesion.

National Institute of Rural Development and Panchyati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad announces its Ninth fully residential One-year ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)’ with an aim to create a committed and competent cadre of rural development professionals in the country; the programme seeks to impart management techniques that will enhance the understanding of the paradigm and practice of rural development

Eligibility for PGDRDM Admission 2015

* Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University
* Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st January 2015, may also apply

Selection Process

* Selection of candidates will be made through a process of All-India Entrance Test which will test the verbal, quantitative and analytical competencies of the students including English Language
* Group Discussion and Personal Interviews will be conducted for the short-listed candidates

Entrance Test Center

The Entrance Test will be conducted on 09th November 2014 at the following centres: Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dimapur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Patna, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram

Programme Duration:

(One year) January 2015 to December 2015

Course Fee:

For Open / OBC Category Rs.1.60 lakhs (excluding boarding and lodging). For SC/ST/PWD category Rs.1.40 lakhs (excluding boarding and lodging)

Scholarships

1. Ten students will be eligible for NIRDPR’s Scholarship based on their performance
2. The North Eastern Council, Shillong, will be approached for giving fellowships to economically backward students of North Eastern states

How to Apply for PGDRDM Admission 2015

* Application form to be filled through online from our website (www.nird.org.in/pgdrdm)

* The applications sent by post will also be accepted through downloadable form available in our website

* The filled in online (Hard copy) /downloaded application form should be submitted along with the Application Fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST and PWD candidates) through an Account Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of NIRD-PGDRDM, payable at Hyderabad

* The filled in application form should be sent to the Coordinator (Admissions), Centre for Post Graduate Studies GS), National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030, India, so as to reach on or before 25th October 2014

* Last date for receipt of applications from the students of North Eastern States, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep is 31st October 2014

* Applications received after the cutoff date shall be rejected

* NIRDPR reserves the right to make changes to the Diploma Programme, its design/content and the process of selection, depending upon the exigencies without assigning any reasons whatsoever
