Manorama School of Communication, MASCOM, Kottayam invites applications for admission to its 13th one year PG Diploma in Print Journalism for 2014 session. The medium of instruction at MASCOM is English, but students are free to choose between English and Malayalam streams for specialization. For students aspiring to a career in English or Malayalam journalism, MASCOM training will give them a head start in the profession.

Eligibility for PGD in Print Journalism by MASCOM 2014:

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and those awaiting degree results may apply

Selection:

Selection is based on an entrance examination to be held at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and various centres in Kerala on 17th May, 2014 and an interview at MASCOM in Kottayam in July, 2014. MASCOM, lunched on 17th-Aug 2002, by the 126-year-old Malayalam Manorama group is an acknowledge centre of excellence for journalism training in India. The course introduces students to state-of-the-art journalism through meticulously designed training modules, which ensure the students receive a well-rounded education in journalism and current events

Requests for the prospectus and application form should be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs 500/- in favour of MASCOM, payable at Kottayam, Kerala
