Regional Institute of English, Chandigarh invites application for Postgraduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE) for the year 2014 - 15.

Postgraduate Certificate in the Teaching of English (PGCTE) Admission 2014-15 is conducted by Regional Institute of English, Chandigarh. The ‘On Campus’ part of Course is from 11th November 2014 to 12th December 2014 and the ‘Off-campus’ part of the Course to be done online from one’s School/Residence is from 18th December 2014 to 18th February 2015

PGCTE Eligibility:

Interested candidates should fulfil following eligibility criteria:
=> Candidates with M.A. (English) or B.Ed (with Teaching of English)
=> Age: Below 55 years for in-service teachers only (during 45 years of Teachers-to-be)

Stipend
For Government School Teachers only (during ‘On-campus’ Part of Course)
=> Rs.190/- P.M. for participants from Chandigarh
=> Rs.300/- P.M. for participants from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir by Chandigarh Administration
=> Rs.2400/- P.M. to all participants from all states under GOI scheme For all course trainees including Teachers-to-Be

Fee Details:

Rs.2000/- (only for Teacher-to-Be)
Application Form: Rs.50/- at the office counter
