The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa), also referred to as NITG, is a premier technical institute established by the Government of India in 2010. NIT Goa is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for admission to NIT Goa vary depending on the program you are applying for. However, for most undergraduate programs, you will need to:
- Have a valid JEE (Main) score
- Secure at least 75% marks in Class XII (or 65% marks for SC/ST/PwD) or be among the category-wise top 20 percentile in your Class XII board examinations.
For postgraduate programs, you will need to have a valid GATE score.
Admission Process
Admission to NIT Goa’s undergraduate programs is done through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling process. For postgraduate programs, admissions are done based on GATE scores followed by counseling by NIT Goa.
