The objective of the Institute is to meet the requirements of the Industries in the field of Tool Design & Manufacture, CAD/CAM & Mechatronics & Robotics and to train the technical personnel in these fields The Institute was originally established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO.

M.Tech Mechatronics

No of Seats: 25 seats (20 Self sponsored + 5 Industry sponsored)

Qualification

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering / Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Electronics and Instrumentation /Mechatronics OR Equivalent) with 55% marks

Course Fee:

Self Sponsored - Rs 37000/- per semester Sponsored - Rs 46000/- per semester

M.Tech Robotics & Automation

Seats: 25 seats (20 Self sponsored + 5 Industry sponsored)

Qualification

B.E /B.Tech (Electronics and Communication/Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics/ Electronics and Instrumentation/Aeronautical/Automobile Engg (OR) Equivalent) with 55% marks

Course Fee:

Self Sponsored - Rs 37000/- per semester Sponsored - Rs 46000/- per semester

Cost of Application

Rs 800/- for general category and Rs 400/- for SC/ST category candidates and for PWD candidates fully exempted; however SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested by a Gazetted Officer
