The Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) is an Indian food research institute and laboratory headquartered in Mysore, India. It is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), an autonomous body of the Government of India for the promotion, guidance and coordination of scientific and industrial research established in 1942.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for admission to the programs offered by CFTRI vary depending on the program. However, some of the general eligibility criteria include:
- For M.Sc. programs, a bachelor’s degree in science (B.Sc.) with Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Mathematics, or Food Science & Technology from a recognized university with a minimum percentage of marks.
- For Ph.D. programs, a Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology or a related field from a recognized university with a minimum percentage of marks.
Admission Process
Admission to the programs at CFTRI is based on an entrance exam conducted by the institute. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
