Calicut University, Calicut invites applications for Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) for the year 2014 - 15. Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Admission is conducted by Calicut University, Calicut.
Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Candidates who possess Master’s Degree in the subject concerned or any other relevant subject approved by the Board of Studies of this University or equivalent degree of any other Indian or Foreign Universities with not less than 55% marks are eligible to apply for the same
=> For OEC/OBC candidates 5% mark relaxation shall be given in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category and teachers under FIP Scheme, a pass in the qualifying examination is sufficient
=> Candidates who secures 50% marks and above in the entrance exam alone are eligible for admission to M.Phil course.
=> Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, however, need only 35% marks to qualify the entrance examination; teachers of affiliated colleges are exempted from the entrance exam

=> The duly filled in applications along with original chalan receipt for Rs.300/- (for SC/ST Rs.135/- only) towards fee for application and entrance examination shall be forwarded to the concerned Heads of Departments of the University on or before 11th December 2014
