Application invites for MBA programmes 2014 at University of Lucknow. University of Lucknow notifies admission for its two year full time MBA Programme for 2014 session from candidates having CAT-2013 percentile scores.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA:

Bachelor’s degree under the 10+2+3 system in any field of study awarded by a university or institute incorporated by law and recognized by this university with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate shall constitute the minimum requirement for admission to the programs
Candidates completing their undergraduate degree requirements by 30th June 2014 an also apply as provisional candidates

Admission Criteria for MBA :

The candidates for admission to the programme shall be selected through applicant's performance in the CAT-2013 (Common Admission Test) or LUMAT 2014 conducted by the Institute

Candidates would be selected based on group discussion and personal interview University will allow admission through following routes:
a) CAT Score
b) LU MAT Score

Applicants who have CAT score can apply. Applicants Who Do Not Have CAT Score Can Also Apply. Applicants who have CAT Score will appear directly for GD/PI on the basis of a combined Merit list. Applicants, who do not have CAT Score will appear for LUMAT-2014 (Written Test) and will appear for GD/PI on the basis on combined Merit list

Admission to Lucknow University MBA will be based on The Combined Merit List (On the Basis of Equalization/Scaling Formula Laid down by the Expert group for creating a combined Merit list from CAT and LUMAT-2014) plus Group Discussion & Interview

For more details on the courses read the brochure document; the application for the LUMAT-2014 can only be submitted online

Candidate should have an active Email-id and Mobile number before starting the Registration process for Online Application form submission, which would be used to communicate with you at various stages of the Admission process. If you do not have any then have these before proceeding

Read carefully all the instructions given here before proceeding to fill the online form

Candidates are advised to take a print out of these instructions so that you can refer to the same while filling the form

Therefore before pressing Confirm Button make sure that you possess the documentary proof of all information supplied in the Application form. After reading the instructions, click on the 'Allow me to apply online' link at the bottom of this page

Before Applying, you have to pay the fees to the University

Application Fee

for General/OBC category candidates will be Rs. 1000/- (One thousand Indian Rupees) and Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Indian Rupees) for SC/ST category candidates.

* The fees can be paid online through the links available in this website www.lkouniv.ac.in
* Those who cannot pay Online in the absence of Debit card/Credit card etc., may pay by cash at any of the
* State Bank of India Branches through the hard copy of the Challan, which you will have to print from this website
* While before printing the fees challan or before making online payment, the system will generate a unique Transaction number for you and same would be displayed when you complete the Fees deposit process
* This Transaction number would also be emailed to you at the email address mentioned during Fees deposit process and a SMS would also be sent to your registered mobile number
* This Transaction number will be required for submitting The Online Application Form

Proposed Exam Centers for LUMAT-2014 (Written Exam)

Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, NOIDA/ Delhi, Dehradun, Patna (Centres could be increased, decreased or changed at the sole discretion of the University without any prior notice)

Important Dates for MBA by Univ of Lucknow:

Last date for Generation of Bank Challan: 20th Apr 2014 (up to 03:00 p.m)
Last date for depositing application fees: 20th Apr 2014 (Depends upon bank timings not later than 10.00 pm)
Last date for registration: 20th Apr 2014 (up to 10.00 pm)
Last date for completing online application form: 21st Apr 2014 (Midnight)

The idea of starting a University at Lucknow was first mooted by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan, Khan Bahadur, K.C.I.E. of Mahmudabad, who contributed an article to the columns of "The Pioneer'' urging the foundation of a University at Lucknow. A little later Sir Harcourt Butler, K.C.S.I., K.C.I.E, was appointed Lieutenant-Governor of the United Provinces, and his well-known interest in all matters under his jurisdiction, specially in matters educational, gave fresh life and vigour to the proposal.
