Department of Jute and Fibre Technology, Institute of Jute Technology, University of Calcutta announces admission to the following short term training courses for Junior Level Supervisory (JLS) Courses Admission 2014-15

Intake: 90

JLS Courses Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:
=> Any candidate who has passed Madhyamik or equivalent may apply, but Class XII pass or Graduate candidates in any discipline with Jute Mill /Jute Organization / JDP Units, Sponsorship will be preferred

=> SC/ST/OBC candidates will get special preference for admission in this course as per University norms/W. B. Govt. rules for reservation

Application Procedure for JLS Courses:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.
=> The candidates have to furnish their application for admission in a prescribed form available from the website www.ijtindia.org / www.caluniv.ac.in or directly from the office of this department and should be submitted to the office of this department within 05th December 2014, within 05.00 p.m after duly filled in and enclosing with attested copies of testimonials for the said module of JLS courses (Course no- JLS-1 or JLS -3 or JLS – 5) with a fee of Rs.500/- as application fee per application either in cash or draft in favor of “Institute of Jute Technology- ISDS account-2 (revenue)” payable at Kolkata

=> However, for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates; application fee is Rs.250/-, subject to submission of the attested copy of caste certificate and original is to be produced to the office for such relaxation

Fee Details:

Course Fee - Rs.7000/- per JLS course of 3 months duration. Send Demand Draft in favour of “Institute of Jute Technology- ISDS account -2 (revenue)” payable at Kolkata on 10th or 11th or 12th December 2014
