ADMISSION NOTICE for ISM-JRF (Ph D Programme) Session: 2014-15 (Phase–2)

Applications are invited for ISM-JRF (Ph D Programme) from eligible candidates in various disciplines as below, to be submitted ONLINE only (along with a hard copy to be sent by post).

Engineering streams:

Chemical, Computer Science & Engg., Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Environmental Science & Engg., Fuel, Industrial Engg. & Management, Mechanical, Mineral, Mining Machinery, Mining and Petroleum Engg.

Science/Management/Humanities and Social Sciences

Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, Chemistry, English Language/Literature, Environmental Science, Management, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics and Statistics The detailed application form (to be filled online ONLY), important dates and information brochure may be downloaded from ISM website at http://www.ismdhanbad.ac.in/phd-jrf from 25.09.2014 onwards. A hard copy of the completed Application Form along bank challan (a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000/- OR Rs. 1000/- in case of SC/ST/PC andidates) and requisite documents should reach the

not later than 24.10.2014. Applicants are advised to ensure fulfilment of all eligibility criteria as depicted in the information brochure. Candidates with VALID GATE/NET score are exempted from appearing in the ISM-JRF Entrance Examination (ISM-JRF EE). The ISM-JRF EE shall be held on 30.11.2014 at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Dhanbad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Varanasi centres.
