Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur invites application for Doctoral Programme (Ph.D) for the year 2014 - 15. Doctoral Programme (Ph.D) is conducted by Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur.

Doctoral Programme (Ph.D) Eligibility:

Interested candidates should fulfil following eligibility criteria:
PhD (Regular, Sponsored and External):

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE): M.Tech./ M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology or a similar discipline with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree.

Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE): M.Tech./M.E. in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electrical
Engineering or a similar discipline with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree.
Design(DS): M.Des. with minimum marks/ CPI in Qualifying Degree.

Physics: Master’s degree in Physics
Mathematics: Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics.
Minimum % of marks in Qualifying Degree:
=> A minimum of 65 percent marks OR a CPI/CGPA of 6.5 (on the scale of 10.00) shall be required at the master’s level qualifying examination
(M.Tech/M.S./M.Sc., etc.) for admission to Ph.D. programme in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electronics & communication Engineering/
Design. Relaxation for reserved category will be as per Govt. of India norms.

=> A minimum of 60 percent marks OR a CPI/CGPA of 6.0 (on the scale of 10.00) shall be required at the master’s level qualifying examination
(M.Tech/M.S./M.Sc., etc.) for admission to Ph.D. programme in Mathematics/ Physics.

Mode of Examination

Doctoral Programme (Ph.D) is Computer Based Test (CBT).

Doctoral Programme (Ph.D) Application Procedure:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.
=> Applications for admission in a postgraduate programme, submitted by applying on the prescribed form, shall only be considered.

=> Apply before the specified last date.

=> All admissions in different postgraduate programmes shall be recommended by the duly constituted selection committees.

=> Applications of those students who have obtained their qualifying degree from any of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) or IIITDM Jabalpur

=> The offer of admission may also stand withdrawn if the candidate who has accepted the offer by paying his/her fee but fails to register in the programme on the date of registration.

=> The selected candidates who have completed all the formalities of their previous degree, including project/ thesis examination/ viva voce, before the last date of registration.

Candidates are required to submit following:
=> Duly Completed application form
=> {DD}
=> A passport size photograph
=> Attested copy of 10th Class Public Examination certificate for Name and Age proof.
=> Attested copy of 10+2 Class mark sheet (if already passed 10+2 examination).

Grand Total against Institute Fees
General and OBC : 39000.00

SC/ST with parent income more than 2 Lacs : 19000.00

SC/ST with parent income less than 2 Lacs : 15000.00

Grand Total against Mess Fees : 10000.00
* All SC/ST students are exempted from payment of Tuition Fee

**SC/ST students whose parent/Guardians' annual income is less than 2,00,000 are exempted from Hostel Rent however Rs. 2000/- will be charged
against fan, electricity, water and other maintenance charges from them
