Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has invited applications for Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) Examination. The application process begins on February 10, 2014, last date for applying is March 4, 2014.
CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) Examination 2014
CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test on 22nd June , 2014 for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. These are
1. Chemical Sciences
2. Earth Sciences
3. Life Sciences
4. Mathematical Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
6. Engineering Sciences
The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding admission/placement in a university/ national laboratory/ institution of higher learning and research, as applicable
The final result of Joint CSIR-UGC test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship, National Eligibility Test (NET) Will be declared by CSIR
The Date for Single MQC Examination is June 22, 2014
Last date for receipt of application from candidates of far-flung areas: March 14, 2014
