Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow announces admission to B.Sc in Nursing and invites online applications are invited from eligible male and female unmarried candidates for 2014 session.
Candidates seeking admission must have 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 45% marks. Application should be filled up on line and a print out of the same be sent through speed post/registered post with Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of Director SGPGIMS, Academic Account, payable at State Bank of India, Lucknow to Executive Registrar, SGPGIMS, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226014. The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay
The Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for reserve category candidates
Age Limit: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age will not exceed 24 years as on 31st December 2014

The candidates will have to fill up the application form On-Line
After online submission a printout of filled in application form must be taken and sent to Executive Registrar, SGPGIMS, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226014 alongwith all relevant documents in support of age, qualifications, experience, caste etc. and duly signed by the candidate through registered post/speed post/courier
A Bank draft of Rs. 1000/- towards examination fees should also be attached with the application form. The Bank draft should be drawn in favour of “Director, SGPGIMS, Academic Account” and payable at State Bank of India, (Code No.7789) Lucknow, which is non-refundable
The selection shall be made through an entrance exam to be conducted on 13th July 2014, Sunday. Eligible candidate may print their admit card from the same website. No separate call letter will be sent. The result of above examination will be available on the Institute’s website within one week of the exam The number of seats is 40 (forty). Reservation will apply as per U.P. Government’s rules Reservation will be admissible only to candidates having domicile of Uttar Pradesh Candidates having domicile other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General Category candidates for all purposes Each selected candidate will have to pay Rs.50000/-(non refundable) as Annual fees for the course and Rs.10000/- as security deposit (refundable after completion of course), university exam fees Rs. 2000/- annually, SNA Rs. 500/- annually, Hostel Fees Rs. 500/- per month (Rs. 6000/- annually) at the time of admission
The application along with bank draft and all above mentioned documents should reach to Executive Registrar, SGPGIMS, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226014 by 30th June 2014 upto 04.00 p.m., through registered/speed post only in a envelope superscibed “Application for entrance exam of B.Sc. (Nursing) (04) years degree course” and to be addressed to Executive Registrar, SGPGIMS, Raebareli Road, Lucknow-226014
The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay
No application should be received by hand
Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all application without showing any reason thereof
Last date of submission of application form is 30th June 2014
Entrance examination shall be conducted on 13th July 2014 (Sunday)
