B.S. Abdur Rahman University (BSARU), Chennai conducts B.S. Abdur Engineering Entrance Examination (BSAUEEE) on an all India basis for admissions to 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered in various disciplines and 5 years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs. BSARU is a Muslim minority institution which is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education.

BS Abdur Rahman University Engineering Entrance Exam (BSAUEEE) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by BS Abdur Rahman University to allow eligible students to various undergraduate engineering courses. BS Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology was founded in 1984 at Crescent Engineering College. The university has immense growth with 48 programmes, grouped under 12 different Schools, 27 Undergraduate Programmes, 20 Postgraduate programmes, and Ph.D. BS Abdur Rahman University conducts BSAUEE. The BSAUEE 2022 exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs offered by B. S. Eligibility Criteria
The conducting authority BS Abdur Rahman University has set up certain standards to allow candidates to appear for the exam. The candidates need to follow these obligatory norms. Anyone who tries to ignore these criteria might not know if they are eligible to appear for the exam. The application forms will be rejected for those who do not fall under the eligibility criteria. Therefore, candidates need to look thoroughly into the eligibility criteria provided below to register for the exam. The candidates need to go through it before applying for the BSAUEEE 2022 Application Form.
Educational Qualification
If the candidates have the following educational qualifications, they are eligible for BSAUEEE 2022.
- The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as a mandatory subject with a minimum of 60% marks conducted by State Board / CBSE / ICSE or equivalent examination.
- The candidates must have passed Diploma (3 years) in Engineering/ Technology awarded by state Board of Technical Education or Equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.
- The candidates must have passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized university with Mathematics as a mandatory subject with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Students with a valid JEE Main score will also be considered eligible.
- Students appearing for the 10+2 examination in March /April 2022 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit
Candidates applying for BSAUEEE should be born on or after July 1st, 1996.
Eligibility for B.Arch Programmes
- The admission to the B.Arch programme is based on the merit of the candidate in the Qualifying Examination (10 +2) and the score obtained in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).
- Candidates are required to have a minimum score of 40% in NATA.
Syllabus
The BSAUEEE Syllabus will be majorly focused on the subject from the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 subjects. The syllabus comprises of topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Candidates are advised to refer the books which are related to the syllabus topics.

Exam Pattern
The B. S. Abdur Rahman University provides the exam pattern of BSAUEEE 2022 that specifies the number of questions and marks, the total time duration, the topics from questions, etc. The following points and table display information regarding the BSAUEEE 2022 Exam Pattern. Candidates are highly advised to have a look at it for their reference.
- Mode: BSAUEEE 2022 will be conducted Offline i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT).
- Question Type: The question paper will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice Question’s (MCQ’s).
- Sections: The question paper consists of 3 sections which include physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.
- Duration: The time given to complete the examination will be 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes.
- No. of Questions: Physics – 25, Chemistry – 25, and Mathematics/ Biology – 50.
- Marking Scheme: +1 marks will be given for the correct answers and -1 mark will be reduced for incorrect answers.
- Medium: The question paper will be in English and Hindi.

Application Form
The BSAUEEE 2022 registration will begin soon. Details involving the application fee, documents to be uploaded, etc., are given below.
Registration Date: Application Form will be available on the official website i.e. www.bsauniv.ac.in from January 2022 (tentative) and the last date to submit the Application Form will be in the month of April 2022 (tentative).
Registration Fee
- Online: All the candidates have to pay INR 750 as registration fee online (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
- Offline: Candidates can pay the registration fee of INR 750 offline by Demand Draft in favor of ‘B.S. Abdur Rahman University’, payable at Chennai to the Director (Admissions)
Exam Centers
BSAUEEE will be conducted in 22 centres across India. A candidate appearing for BSAUEEE shall give his/ her preference for the centre at the time of filling the Application Form.
Note: No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.

Admit Card
The Admit Card will be available online for candidates from April 2022 (tentative), a few days before the exam. Admit Card will contain the personal details of a candidate, registration details, date, time and centre of examination for BSAUEEE 2022. In order to avoid any sort of discrepancies thoroughly check all the details mentioned in the Admit Card.
Steps to Download the Admit Card
- Step 1: Candidate should visit to the official website of BSAUEEE 2021.
- Step 2: The next step is to enter their application number with the Password to access the BSAUEEE 2021 admit card.
- Step 3: Candidates should Download and Print the BSAUEEE 2021 Admit Card.
Selection Procedure
Candidate for the admission in the in B.Tech Course is going to make in two different streams. Their selections to BSAUEEE 2022 is done as follows.
Stream 1:
Candidate will the get the admission is on the basis of the merit list of the entrance exam and for eligible yourself, for the counselling you have to secure 50% marks in the exam and there are 50% seats for the candidates of BSAUEEE.
Stream 2:
Candidate will get the admission of the 50% remaining seats on the basis of the rank of JEE (Main).
Results
The result of BSAUEEE 2022 will be announced in the month of May 2022. The merit list will be displayed on the website. The candidates will be informed about the results through their registered email address. Students will be called for counselling having good marks in the BSAUEEE 2022.
Counselling
The counselling process will start as soon as the merit list is announced. This will be in the month of May 2022.
At the time of counselling, students have to come with the 10th and 12th Mark sheet, 10th and 12th Passing certificate, BSAUEEE 2022 Admit Card, Caste Certificate, Counselling Call Letter for the counselling. These documents are mandatory for the counselling process.
