Amrita University announced admission to Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) Amrita Entrance Examination 2014.
Admission to BAMS course at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is based on a national level entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
The entrance examination is governed by rules and regulations specified by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and the respective statutory bodies

Eligibility

Age Limit: Should complete the age of 17yrs by 31-12-2014 and should not exceed 23yrs by the said date

Qualification: Candidate must have passed the higher secondary examination or its equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken aggregate, and English separately

Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March / April 2014 can also apply

The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary examination, or its equivalent in first attempt (Exemptions may be considered only on medical grounds and the decision of the Chairman-Admissions will be final and binding)

How to Apply

i) An envelope printed with our address is provided along with the application, which you are required to use for submission of the same
ii) Before mailing, ensure that you have kept the following documents in the bigger envelope
a) Application Form duly filled and pasted with three Photographs all duly ATTESTED by the candidate. One on the application form, second on the Hall Ticket and the third on the attendance card (Do not tear the Hall Ticket and attendance card from the application form)
b) Plus two marks list if available (stapled to the application form)
c) Demand Draft of Rs.1500/- in case of online or downloaded application forms
Candidates who opt to appear from the US Centre shall submit a demand draft of US $ 300 in favour of Amrita School of Ayurveda payable at Kollam

Annual Tution Fess: Rs.140,000.00/- (Hotels, Mess, Other Fees and Caution Deposit will be extra)

There is no Separate Examination Fees

Issue of Application Forms from: 03rd April 2014
Last date for issue of Application Form: 15th May 2014
Last date for receipt of completed Application forms: 20th May 2014
Hall tickets can be downloaded from: 15th May 2014
Entrance Examination for BAMS: 25th May 2014 (Sunday) from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Expected date of declaration of results and publication of counselling dates at website: 15th June 2014
Regular classes expected to start: Second Week of August 2014
