Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune open admissions for Ayurvedic Programmes 2014. BVDU is a deemed university, has intuited applications for the Common All India Entrance Test for the admission to MD / MS / Diploma Courses for the academic year 2014-15.

Courses offered:

B.A.M.S (Ayurvedacharya),
MD (Ayurved Vachaspati),
MS (Ayurved Dhanvantari),
PG Diploma Ph.D (Ayurved Varidhi),
Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences

B.A.M.S. (Ayurvedacharya) Course

Duration:

5½ year (including 1 year compulsory internship)

Eligibility:

* Students must have passed the Twelfth (10+2) standard with science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to same & with English as one of the languages
* must have achieved minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subject (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) of the12th standard examination
* Minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st Dec

M.D. (Ayurved Vachaspati), M.S. (Ayurved Dhanvantari) and PG Diploma

Duration :

3 years for MD / MS and 2 years for PG Diploma

Eligibility:

Students must have passed the degree course of BAMS / Ayurvedacharya and should have completed his compulsory rotatatory internship before the counseling and spot admission

Mode of admission:

Students are admitted to MD / MS (Ayurved) course on the basis of merit obtained by them in the All India ‘Ayurved Post graduate Entrance Test’ (AYU-PET) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune

The minimum eligibility marks of the entrance test for admission in the case of general candidates shall be fifty percent of the total marks and in the case of candidates belonging to the ST/SC and Regular Govt service candidate shall be forty per cent

Ph.D (Ayurved Varidhi)

Duration :

Minimum 2 years.

Eligibility :

As per UGC norms

Mode of admission:

Students are admitted to PhD course on the basis of merit obtained by them in the All India Entrance Test for PhD course, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.

Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences

Duration:

1 year

Eligibility:

Class 12th Pass (any stream)

Mode of admission:

Admissions are on first come first basis

Selection Procedure:

The selection shall be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained by candidate in AYUPET-2014, written test of 200 marks

AYUPET-2014:

AYUPET-2014 will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Pune, Navi Mumbai, New Delhi centers

Last date for submission of the completed application forms to Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, CET Dept, 2nd Floor, LBS Marg, Pune: 08th July, 2014, upto 05.00 p.m.
Entrance Test Date: 13th July 2014 (11.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.)
Declaration of results: 30th July 2014
Counselling and the spot admission: 13th August 2014
