About
AU AIMEE exam will be conducted in selected centre in Tamil Nadu for All India Medical Entrance Exam(AU-AIMEE) is conducted by Annamalai University for admission to its various medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc (Nursing) and B Pharm. Annamalai University is one of the oldest universities in India being established in 1928. It conducts a common entrance examination to all the medical bachelor courses which include MBBS, BDS, BPT, BSc(Nursing) and B Pharm. Admission is based on the percentage of class 12th marks, admission test and a personal interview. Entrance exam is conducted on Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology). Eligibility Criteria
For appearing in the AU AIMEE Entrance Exam 2022 candidates are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
For Admission in MBBS and BDS courses
- Candidate must have passed +2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (including both Botany and Zoology) and English.
- Candidate must have secure 50% marks in aggregate of the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For SC/ST/OBC belonging candidate 40% marks in aggregate of the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Candidate should have pass in English in +2 levels.
- Students appearing in +2 exam 2017 exam are also eligible to apply for this exam.
- Candidate should be an Indian National.
For Admission B.P.T courses
- Candidate must have passed +2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (including both Botany and Zoology) and English.
- Candidate should be an Indian National.
For Admission B.P.T courses
- Candidate must have passed +2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (including both Botany and Zoology) and English.
- Candidate must have secure 45% marks in aggregate of the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For SC/ST/OBC belonging candidate 40% marks in aggregate of the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also eligible for the exam.
- Candidate should be an Indian National.
Age Limit for AU AIMEE 2022
Candidate is required to have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the said age on or before 31st December 2022. For SC/ST candidates the maximum age limit is 35 years of age. For the candidates appearing for B. Sc Nursing the maximum age limit is 30 years.
Application Form
AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2022 Application Form will be available via three mediums. Candidates can choose any one of the three options to obtain the form. The steps to follow for each mode of the Application form are given below.
Online Application form
- The online AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2022 Application form will be available on the official website. Applicants are supposed to fill the form in the prescribed time frame and follow the guidelines mentioned below:
- Visit the official website.
- Register with a valid email Id and a self-chosen password.
- Make the fee payment by either online or offline method.
- Provide all the requisite details in the online Application Form.
Application Fee
AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2022 Application Fee is Rs 300/- that can be paid in two ways:
Online: Can be paid via Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking etc.
Offline: Can be paid using Demand Draft or Bank Challan.
The Demand Draft must be drawn in the favour of “The Registrar, Annamalai University” and must be payable at Chennai.
Application Process
AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2022 Application Form will be made available online in March, 2022 (tentatively). Candidates will have about a month to complete the process of filling the application form. Any updates will be released on the official website and candidates are advised to check in frequently.

- Make the fee paid by any of the available methods.
- Provide all the requisite details in the online form.
- Click on “view” button to see the final form and edit any fields, if required.
- Click on “print” button to take a print out of the completed form.

Syllabus
The AU AIMEE 2022 Syllabus is as per prescribed for the intermediate class i.e. 12th by the Tamil Nadu education board for the three subjects namely:
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Biology
Admit Card
The admit card for AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2022 will be available for download on the official website a week prior to the date of the examination. Only the candidates who are eligible and have submitted completed application forms along with the specified payment will be able to download the hall ticket.
The steps to download the AU AIMEE Pharmacy 2022 Admit Card are given below:
- Visit the official website of Annamalai University.
- Click on the “AU AIMEE Pharmacy Admit Card” link.
- Enter your username and password and hit “Submit” button.
- View and download the admit card.
Cutoff
The cut off score depends on difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score examination authority prepares the merit list and candidates are called for counselling.
Results
Every year the entrance examination is conducted in the month of June and the result of AU AIMEE are declared by the 1st week of July 2022. The results of the applicants will be available on the official website where students can mention their enrolment number and can check their results.
Counseling
Shortlisted candidates will not be intimated regarding counselling through separate letters. They are supposed to check the list and the date which will be available on Official Website. Selected candidates have to carry their original mark-sheets and certificates at the time of counselling and if they fail to carry their original certificates and mark-sheets their admission will be cancelled. Downloaded mark-sheets and certificates are not allowed. The counselling process would start tentatively in 2nd week of July 2022.
