Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai PG Admission 2013

TISS announce admission to the 2014-16 Batch of Post-Graduate Degree Programmes offered from Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses 44 highly competitive, socially relevant MA. / MSc. / MPh. / MHA. Programmes in inter and trans-disciplinary areas of social, health, management, development, habitat and climate sciences.

Eligibility:

Candidates having a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university are eligible to apply.
Candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Bachelor’s Degree examinations by Saturday, June 14, 2014 are also eligible to apply to all the programmes except School of Health System Studies and School of Education (Elementary) programmes. In case of (b), admission to any of the Master’s Degree Programmes of the Institute will be provisional. In case the examination process for the final year is not over before June 14, 2014, the provisional admission stands cancelled. If a provisionally admitted student fails in the final year examination, the offer of provisional admission automatically stands cancelled.

How to Apply:

Candidates are required to apply online through the E-application process only.
The application form for online submission will be available from 9th September, 2013
Candidates can also obtained the application form from the institute by sending request for printed form by Speed Post with application fees to Asisistant Registrar(Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar Mumbai, 400088.
Please note that candidates applying through the E-application form should not send the application form by post.
The application fees is Rs 1020/-

National Entrance Test – (Computer Based) at Different Centres: 15th December, 2013
Candidates who appeared for the national entrance test will be sent their score cards on email: 1st Feb, 2014
Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview at TISS Mumbai for programmes offered at Mumbai and Tuljapur Campuses: 11th March to 21st March, 2014
Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview at Hyderabad for all Hyderabad Campus Programmes: 24th to 29th March, 2014
Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview at Guwahati for all Guwahati Campus Programmes: 31st March to 3rd April, 2014
Announcement of Selection on TISS website for all the Programmes: 26th April, 2014
Verification of Documents and Payments of Fees has to be done at the campus where Candidates are selected: 28th April to 10th May, 2014
Announcement of First Wait List on TISS website for all Programmes: 14th May, 2014
Verification of Documents and Payments of Fees by the candidates from the waitlist has to be done at the campus where Candidates are selected: 15th May to 24th May, 2014

Note:

A candidate can apply for multiple programmes and pay for those programmes in one online form and should not fill more than one form. If a candidate is found to have filled more than one online form, all his applications will be cancelled.

Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS Campuses.
