State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Delhi Admission 2013

 

The Department School Education Government of Punjab has entrusted the responsibility of conducing the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) to SCERT, Punjab for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. SCERT invites applications for PSTET to be conduced on 9th June, 2013 (Sunday)

Eligibility Critical

I. Qualifications for class 1 to 5 (Paper-I):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education

II. Qualifications for class 6 to 8 (Paper-II):

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Application Fee:

General/BC/OBC Candidates must pay Rs.500/- as application Fee, SC/ST of Candidates must pay Rs.300/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II
General/OBC Candidates who intend to apply for both papers 1 and 2 must pay Rs.1000/- and SC/ST must pay Rs.600/-
Candidates should pay the fee through the Challan and deposit the prescribed fee in the HDFC bank or
Online payment through Credit/Debit Card

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination

Examination Pattern: Paper – I will be for a Person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V, Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII

Candidates who intend to teach both classes can attend for both paper I and II

Candidates should take the print of the conformation page and send to Post Box No.1828, Post Office Sector-62, and Mohali (Punjab) Pin 160062 through ordinary post only

PSTET 2013 – Apply Online for Punjab State Teacher

Eligibility Test:

Punjab State Government, Director of SCERT Punjab has issued notification for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test 2013
Eligible candidates can apply online from 18th April, to 13th May, 2013
For more details regarding age limit, educational qualifications, selection process and how to apply are mentioned below
Instructions for Online Application:
Candidates have to apply online through the website www.tetpunjab.com
Pay the application fee through Challan or through online mode
Fill the application by clicking at the link PSTET Online Registration
After successful registration candidates should take the print of the online application
Candidate signs the Confirmation Page & pastes his/her recent passport size photograph at the specified place
The candidate must keep a photocopy of the Confirmation Page for use as reference for future correspondence
The Confirmation Page must be sent in an envelope cover and paste address slip on the envelope super scribing “Application for PSET” and send to the above mentioned address

Important Dates

Starting Date for Online Applications: 18th April 2013
Closing Date for Online Applications: 13th May, 2013
Date for Fee Payment: 18th April, 2013 to 13th May, 2013
Date for Uploading the Admit Card: 27th May, 2013
Date of Written Exam: 09th June, 2013
