1: Submit the duly completed Admission Application form using any of the following modes:
Submit the duly completed Admission Application form along with all the required documents, using any of the following modes:
Online at the NU website: www.niituniversity.in. Attach scanned copies of all the required documents as specified in the application form.
Printed copy of the form by post to NU Central Admissions Office at NIIT House, 85, Sector 32, Institutional Area, Gurgaon – 122001.
Scanned copy emailed to [email protected] along with the scanned copies of all the documents required.
Printed copy of the form submitted in person to a duly authorized representative, details of which are available on the NU website.
2: Within 24 hours of receiving the application, NU will send an acknowledgement of the receipt of the Admission Application form.
3: The Admission Office carries out the Assessment of Background.
4: Within 3 days of receiving the application, the candidates who have not appeared for the CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT or those who do not have valid scores are requested to give the NUMAT. This test is conducted online and is conducted at our various Regional Admission Offices and Admission Facilitation Centers.
5: Within 3 days of receiving the application, if NUMAT is not applicable, or else within 3 days of giving the NUMAT exam, the Admission Office shares the date and venue for the Assessment of Written and Oral Communication.
6: The Assessment of Written and Oral Communication is conducted at the designated center. The assessment comprises a Communication Proficiency Test, Presentation and Personality & Overall Suitability Interview.
7: Within 3 working days of completing the Assessment of Written and Oral Communication, the Admission Office sends the Admission Offer letter to the selected candidates.
8: Selected candidates need to submit the Admission Acceptance Letter duly signed within 5 working days of receiving the Admission Offer letter, along with the payment of non-refundable Acceptance fee of INR 15,000 (Rupees Ten thousand only) by cash or, electronic transfer or Crossed Demand Draft, in favor of NIIT University, payable at New Delhi.
9: The candidates who are found eligible for scholarship can either confirm acceptance of the scholarship by paying the first fee installment as per the selected payment plan and the scholarship offered. Refer tables 9.2A, 9.2B and 9.2C. The fee can be paid in cash, via electronic transfer or Crossed Demand Draft, in favor of NIIT University, payable at New Delhi.
10: The candidates enroll into the programme by paying the balance applicable fees and the refundable interest free security deposit by June 28, 2013 in cash, via electronic transfer, or by a Crossed Demand Draft, in favor of NIIT University, payable at Delhi , from here their status changes from a ‘candidate’ to a ‘student’ of NU.
11: Students join the University campus and complete the First registration formalities including submission of original mark-sheet of graduation.
Eligibility
a) The applicant must be a graduate (10+2+3/4 years of education) from a recognized and reputed Board / University in India or abroad with minimum 50 % and students appearing for final year examination are also eligible to apply.
b) pplicants are required to appear for the NIIT University Management Aptitude Test (NUMAT).
Those who have appeared for the CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT and have valid scores are exempted from appearing for the NUMAT; such candidates must enclose a photocopy of their score transcript along with their application.
c)Applicants with Work experience are preferred.
