Eligibility
- B.A. LL.B. (Hons.):
- Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board with a minimum percentage (typically above 50%).
- Secure a qualifying rank in the Central University Law Entrance Test (CLAT) UG entrance exam.
- LL.M.:
- A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized university with a minimum percentage (typically 55% or above).
- Ph.D.:
- An LL.M. degree from a recognized university with a good academic record.
- Appear for the NUSRL Ranchi Ph.D. entrance exam and interview.
Admission Process
- Online Application:
- For UG programs: Submit an application form through the CLAT website during the designated application window.
- For PG and Ph.D. programs: Submit an application form through the NUSRL Ranchi website during the designated application window.
- Entrance Exams:
- Appear for CLAT UG entrance exam (for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)).
- Appear for the NUSRL Ranchi Ph.D. entrance exam (for Ph.D. program). (There might not be an entrance exam for the LL.M. program, but confirm this on the official website).
- Selection:
- UG program: Selection based on CLAT scores, domicile (for some seats), and reservation criteria.
- PG and Ph.D. programs: Selection might be based on merit (including entrance exam scores, if applicable), previous academic performance, and an interview.
