IIMC, an Internationally-known centre for training and research in Mass Communication, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India, invites applications for Diploma Course in Journalism (Urdu)

Duration: Nov 2013 to April 2014

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Good Knowledge of Urdu

No. of Seat: 25

Fees: Rs. 15,000/-

Entrance Exam:

At IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, JNU New Campus, New Delhi-110067 on 20 October 2013 (Sunday).

How to Apply:

Application forms can be purchased in person or by post.
Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from IIMC, New Delhi on payment of Rs. 500/- through a demand draft only drawn on any scheduled bank payable to “Registrar IIMC” at New Delhi.
Request for application forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft & a self-addressed, stamped (Rs. 70/-) envelope (27×17 cm).

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi
Indian Institute of Mass Communication was set up on August 17, 1965 as a department of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. It was registered under the Societies Registration Act on January 22nd, 1966 as an autonomous organization. IIMC was established with the purpose of devising a methodology for the proper utilization of communication resources within the country. The plan for the establishment of IIMC was drawn up by a team of experts including representatives of the UNESCO.
