Applications in the prescribed forms are invited for admission to Ph.D programmes

Eligibility:
Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks

The percentage of marks shall be considered only for candidates coming from universities that do not award grades

The candidates who have appeared in the master’s degree examination in the year 2013 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission

Application Form:
Application form can be obtained during 04th March, 2013 to 03rd April, 2013 Application form on cash payment from Syndicate bank, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012 on Payment of Rs 1000/- in case for General/OBC category and Rs 500/- for SC/ST category (Rs 25/- as bank handling/service charges)

Important Dates
Last date of receipt of application is 03rd April, 2013
Last date for documents submission (in case on line applications) and through proper channel applications: 17th April, 2013
Date of entrance exam: 09th June, 2013, Sunday

Indian Agricultural Research Institute IARI
The journey of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute, began in 1905 at Pusa (Bihar) with the generous grant of 30,000 pounds from an American philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps. The institute was then known as Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) which functioned with five departments, namely Agriculture, Cattle Breeding, Chemistry, Economic Botany and Mycology. Bacteriology unit was added in 1907.
