New admission procedure for B.Tech (earlier B.Sc Engineering) from the session 2013-2014 in the Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute

Eligibility Criteria:
Only candidates from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics stream securing at least 60% normalized marks or normalized CGPA of 6.00 out of 10 in Mathematics in Intermediate of Class XII of any recognized board of secondary education would be eligible for admission
SC/ST category 5% concession will be given

Admission Procedure:
Following scheme of weightage will be given for marks scored at class XII/X level and JEE (Main)
Candidates should appear in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2013 conducted by CBSE

Their rank will be determined by the sum of the following components; marks obtained in Joint Entrance Exam (Main)-15%; normalized marks scored in intermediate or in class XII-60%; normalized marks scored in high school or in class X-5%; character building component (NCC, NSS, Sports, Games, Cultural activities, Debates, Elocution etc with objective assessment based on certificate-10%; interview to assess communication skills, personality and general knowledge-10%

Students interested in taking admission from the session 2013-2014 for B.Tech in Faculty of Engineering at Dayalbagh Educational Institute are advised to appear in the JEE (Main)-2013 and they should also apply in Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra on the prescribed application form for the admission in the month of May/June, 2013
