B.Tech (Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering) (Approved By AICTE and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai)
Admission Notification for other state quota 2013-14
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has sanctioned 40 seats for the B.Tech programme in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering offered at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) Out of these 40 seats, 35 seats are for Tamil Nadu State candidates and these 35 seats are filled through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2013 (TNEA - 2013) The remaining 5 seats are reserved for other state candidates
Applicant should be a citizen of India
The minimum academic requirement is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent recognized by any State Board/Central Board or any other Board accepted by Anna University, Chennai
The candidates must have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects
50.00 % for General & OBC (NLC); 40.00 % for SC
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of JEE (Main) 2013 Rank
Candidates will be called for counselling in the order of their merit
Based on the merit and communal reservation allotment will be made
General: 3 Seats; OBC: 1 Seat; SC: 1 Seat

Applications should be submitted to Dean(Administration), Centre For Education, CECRI, Karaikudi- 630006, Tamil Nadu along with a Demand draft from any nationalized bank for Rs. 200/- (SC/ST Rs.100/-) drawn in favour of Director, CECRI, payable at Karaikudi on or before 10th July, 2013
