15% percent seats of the intake capacity are reserved for Foreign/NRI (Non-Resident-Indian)/P.I.O./Management Merit Category students
The Candidates who have passed LL.B Three / Five Years Degree course from any Indian/Foreign University recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST Candidates) are eligible to appear for Combine PG Law Entrance Test
Candidates who have appeared for the final year LL.B examination may also apply for the Entrance Test
Pattern of Examination: The Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test, 2013 shall be of total 200 marks it will consist of:
LL.M. Entrance Test Paper (140 Marks)
Group Discussion (60 marks)
The LL.M Entrance Test Paper will be of 140 marks
The question paper will consist of 140 multiple choice questions
There is no negative marking
Constitutional Law of India, Jurisprudence, Law of Contracts (General Principles), Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Family Law of Marriage & Divorce, International Law & Human Rights, addition, the candidates should keep themselves updated with current affairs, Knowledge of basic English is also necessary
Group Discussion Round
In addition to the Entrance Test the Candidates must also appear for the Group Discussion Round which shall carry 60 Marks
It will be on Research Methodology and Fundamentals of Law
The candidate shall give GDR at the place where he/she has appeared for entrance test
Application form shall be filled by the candidate in block letters with Black / Blue ball point pen
The Candidate shall fill all the columns relevant and shall affix latest passport photograph
Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- towards entrance exam fee shall be drawn in favour of the Registrar B.V.D.U., Pune on any Nationalized Bank payable at Pune
The demand draft shall be enclosed with the application form with name & address of candidate written on the backside of the demand draft
The attested Xerox copy of the qualified examination may be enclosed with the form (except for those candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination & whose results are awaited
The Admit Card (the Hall Ticket) will be dispatched to the candidate well in advance by post/mail at the address registered in the application form
If the candidate has not received the admit card in time, he may ask for duplicate admit card at his respective examination centers i.e Pune, New Delhi & Navi Mumbai on 19th July, 2013
The student shall bring the entrance test fee receipt for collecting the admission card
For issue of duplicate admission card the candidate shall bring latest photograph and I-Card
The examination will be conducted on 20th July, 2013 (Saturday) at the examination centers mentioned above from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m
The question paper will be in English only; the group discussion round will be held on 21st July, 2013 (Sunday) at the exam; centers mentioned above from 11.00 a.m. onwards
Application Form Fee: Rs. 200/- (by Post): Rs. 400/-
Entrance fee: Rs 1000/- (Cash / Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune)
Last date for submitting the completed application form: 13th July 2013 to Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune
Dispatch of admission cards to candidates who are of considered provisionally eligible: On receipt and scrutinisation application form
Issue of duplicate admission cards to those candidates, who have not received by 18th July 2013: 19th July, 2013
Date and time of Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test: 20th July, 2013, 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Date and time of Group Discussion: 21st July, 2013 at 11.00 a.m.
Places where the Test & Group Discussion will be held: Pune, New Delhi & Navi Mumbai
Declaration of results: 29th July, 2013
Counseling & Spot Admission (at Pune only): 31st July, 2013
College to open: 1st August, 2013
