About MBA Program at ABV-IIITM Gwalior
The Institute provides a two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program spanning four semesters. The program emphasizes the integration of information technology (IT) with business operations. It offers a range of courses covering specialized areas including Marketing Management, Technology & Operations Management, IT & Systems, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management of Social Sector, and Business Analytics. The curriculum is tailored to align with contemporary business demands and industrial perspectives.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates eligible for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme at ABV-IIITM Gwalior must meet the following criteria:
- Possession of a First-Class Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent aggregate, obtained from any university recognized by the central or state legislature in India, or from other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament, or declared deemed-to-be-University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Alternatively, an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India is also acceptable.
- The Bachelor’s degree must include Mathematics/Statistics as one of the courses.
- Candidates must have undergone a minimum of three years of education post completion of higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its equivalent.
- A valid CAT score is required for consideration.
- Candidates who are in their final year of bachelor’s degree or have fulfilled the degree requirements and are awaiting results are eligible to apply. However, if selected, such candidates must submit their degree certificate before registration for the programme. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their admission.
- There is a relaxation of 5% in marks or equivalent in CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Application Process
Applicants must submit the fully completed offline application form, which can be obtained from the institute’s website, along with the necessary fee details and supporting documents via speed post to the office of the Head of the Department, Department of Management Studies, ABV-IIITM Gwalior (M.P.)-474015. The deadline for submission is 30th March, 2024. Please note that the institute bears no responsibility for any postal delays.
Application Fees
- For General and OBC candidates : Rs 1000/-
- For SC/ST/PH/Female candidates : Rs. 500/-
Selection Process
All eligible applicants, as per the prescribed eligibility criteria, and whose hard copies of applications have been received by 30th March, 2024, must report to the MDP center, ABV-IIITM Gwalior on 4th April, 2024, at 9:30 AM for further selection processes.
No separate communication will be provided to the applicants.
Eligible applicants must bring the following documents in original along with two self-attested photocopies:
a) Mark-sheets of all examinations passed (10th, 12th, Graduation – all years/semesters)
b) Conversion formula in case results are in the form of Grades/CGPA.
c) Valid CAT Score Card for the year 2023.
d) SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PH Certificate, if applicable.
e) Aadhaar Card and 2 recent passport size photographs.
The selection process for eligible candidates may typically include Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), extempore, writing comprehension, etc.
