Duration of the Course : Two years

1) Medical - Surgical Nursing
2) Psychiatric Nursing
3) Pediatric Nursing
4) Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing

ELIGIBILITY

* The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with any State Nursing Council.
The candidate should have passed BSc Nursing or BSc Hons. Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an Institution recognized by INDIAN * NURSING COUNCIL.
* Candidates should be medically fit.
Minimum 1 Year of work experience after basic BSc Nursing or prior or after Post Basic BSc Nursing

SELECTION

Selection is based on the rank obtained in the All India entrance test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi
The College of Nursing is recognized by the Kerala Nurses' and Midwives' Council and Indian Nursing Council. It is situated within the Health Sciences Campus in a separate building with excellent facilities. The College was established in 2002. AIMS The revised curriculum based on INC (Indian Nursing Council) syllabus was implemented in 2006. Extensive clinical practice is combined with rigorous coursework to offer a thorough understanding of nursing and it's relationship to overall health, as well as it's role in society.
