 Event Description

The Centre for Development Practice and Research is a Patna-based independent centre of TISS, Mumbai. It was inaugurated on March 6, 2016. The objective of the centre is to undertake research and publications on areas that are primarily specific to Bihar with short-term courses and field action projects.

PRIORITY RESEARCH AREAS

The priority areas of research of the Centre include migration and labour studies, justice, school education, and public health. The research carried at the Centre would be multi, inter and trans disciplinary in nature. The Centre also intends to promote research both in vernacular and English languages.
