About ENTHUSIA MARATHON
Enthusia is a National Level Intercollegiate Sports Extravaganza of one of the premier engineering institute of the country, VJTI. Enthusia 2k18 is scheduled at the VJTI campus at Matunga, Mumbai from 9th December to 22nd December. The aim is not just to promote sports, but also instill a sense of passion and sportsmanship.
The marquee event, Enthusia Marathon is an annual event which will take place on 16th December, 2018, Sunday. Since its inception in 2008, Enthusia Marathon which started with a humble mindset of reaching out to people, has certainly come a long way. Every year the Marathon takes up one of the many causes that shackles our society and reinforces its social responsibility by collaborating with NGOs.
Enthusia organises 5km joy run and 10km timed run, which see wide participation of people across all age groups. The route covers the peaceful and lush green areas around Matunga monitored by our volunteers. The Marathon is featured by Pacers which helps participants to maintain their timing for their run. RFID timing chips are provided for timed run. Refreshments and finishers medal and certificate are given to every participant. Prizes worth 50,000 INR to win.
