Inspired by how hard both doctors and engineers work together to improve lives? Want to learn how to contribute to the future along with them?_ Presenting *BECON 2018*, a one-day national biomedical conference conducted as a part of *Excel 2018*, featuring different sessions on methods and tools to improve health care. _What’s the highlight you ask?_ A *Paper Presentation Competition* where students can send in their abstracts, out of which the *top 5* will get the opportunity to present their paper in front of the judge. To give you some idea, the topics for the abstract can include *_Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Nanotechnology, Bioinformatics, Brain-Computer Interface or Medical Electronics_*. Your abstract does not have to be restricted to these topics, but it *has to be related to healthcare.* The abstracts will be judged on the basis of their *practicality, scalability and cost-effectiveness*. The event comes with a *cash prize of ?10,000* so make sure you start early and prepare well! Date: 14??
