A two-Day International seminar on Mortality and Causes of Death Studies in India Requirement Availability and Analysis during past four decades organized by Centre For Study Of Regional Development, School If Social Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University which will held from March 26 2015 to March 27 2015. The Proposed seminar aims to critically analyze the requirement and availability of causes of death studies in India. This Seminar is an attempt to bring together International And Indian scholars from cognate areas on a single platform to deliberate on the issue cited earlier. It is hoped that the conclusions of the seminar will provide partinent input to strengthen the causes of death database and to design health policies and programs in the era of health transition.
