National Workshop on Ethical Hacking organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CARE School of Engineering, Trichy which will be held on August 19 2015. This workshop EHACK is specifically designed to provide the right knowledge to the aspiring Hacking and Cyber Security enthusiasts. This workshop will explore the various means that an intruder has available to gain access to computer resources. It will investigate weaknesses by discussing the theoretical background behind, and whenever possible, actually performing the attack. Through this workshop student will begin by understanding how perimeter defences work and then be led into scanning and attacking their own networks, no real network is harmed. Participants then learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system.
