  6. Selection Rounds:
    • Depending on the school’s selection process, you may need to participate in additional rounds, which could include group discussions, personal interviews, and/or written essays.

Specifically for NMIMS University programs, here’s how the admission process works:

Stage 1: The NMAT 2024 test is mandatory for applying to various NMIMS University programs, including MBA in multiple locations, MBA HR in Mumbai, MBA Business Analytics in Mumbai, MBA (Digital Transformation) in Mumbai, and MBA Pharmaceutical Management in Mumbai. GMAC submits NMAT scores electronically to NMIMS.

Stage 2: Shortlisting based on NMAT 2024 sectional and total scores is carried out for applicants who have applied to NMIMS programs. Call letters are made available on the candidate’s dashboard. The second stage of the selection process, managed by NMIMS, may include a psychometric test, Written Analytical test, and Personal Interview. Detailed information is provided later. The selection process is conducted in person, and candidates must present their NMAT 2024 scorecard by GMAC. Call letters are not sent via email or post.

Weightage: Academic performance and work experience are also considered in the selection process. The final merit list is based on NMAT 2024 scores, personal interview, Written Analytical Test (WAT), psychometric test, work experience, and past academics.

Selection Criteria: Selection is solely based on merit, and NMIMS sets the merit list cutoff. For candidates who applied to multiple programs or campuses, selection is determined by their merit score, preferences, and seat availability in the respective program. NMIMS’s decisions in this regard are final and binding.

In summary, NMAT 2024 serves as the initial stage for applying to NMIMS programs. Shortlisted candidates proceed to a second stage with various assessment components. The selection process takes into account academic performance and work experience. The final merit list considers multiple criteria, with NMIMS having the authority to set the merit cutoff and make the final selection decisions for applicants who have applied to multiple programs.

Final Admission Offer: If you successfully pass the selection rounds, you will receive a final admission offer from the business school.

Acceptance and Enrollment: Upon receiving an admission offer, follow the school’s instructions to accept it. Pay the required fees and complete any additional formalities for enrollment.

It’s important to note that the specific admission process, criteria, and deadlines may vary from one business school to another. Therefore, it’s crucial to review the admission requirements of your chosen institutions and adhere to their guidelines.

NMAT 2024 provides a convenient means to apply to multiple business schools using a single exam score, offering flexibility and opportunities to pursue management education in various institutions.
