Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidate must have passed 12th examination with 50% marks from a recognised board of examination along with a post graduation in LL.B/B.L degree with 50% of marks from a recognised university.

The qualifying marks, however, shall vary for each of the participating colleges across India

Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for LSAT India exam

Application Fee

Registration Fee is Rs. 3800/-

How to Apply

Candidates can register for LSAT - India through online mode only. No demand draft will be accepted for LSAT-India 2017 Register online for the LSAT - India entrance test by logging in to official Webiste.

The fee can be paid online only through credit/debit cards. The candidate can also contact Pearson VUE at [email protected] for more information. On completion of the registration, all candidates will get an LSAT-India registration number. Candidates will need to mention this LSAT-India registration number while submitting the application forms to the associated colleges

After obtaining the LSAT-India registration number, the candidate must download/obtain the application form from the associated college. The college admission application forms will require candidates to mention their LSAT-India registration number. Candidates must ensure that they write their LSAT-India registration number at the given place in the Application Form of the associated colleges

All registrants who complete the test registration, pay the test fee in a timely way, and follow published test rules may sit for the LSAT-India. It is the candidates' responsibility to understand the eligibility requirements of the associated law schools before deciding to register for the LSAT-India
The school(s)/program(s) will not consider your LSAT-India score for admission if you do not complete the application form and pay the application fee for the program(s) prior to the last application date

Exam Pattern

It’s a pen-paper mode exam. The total duration of the exam is 2 Hours and 20 Minutes. There shall be 100 questions in LSAT 2017. There is no negative marking system following in LAST 2017 and therefore the candidates should leave no questions unanswered way.

Reading Comprehension Questions: The questions in this section test your ability to read, understand and insight complex material similar to those encountered in law school. This Reading comprehension section contains four sets of reading questions that include reading material followed by four to nine questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket

Pearson VUE India offering admit cards for the students who successfully completed registration process and received an acknowledgment notification on their official webmail. Eligible candidates can download the admit card from its official website after signing-in to their account with Pearson VUE India website.

Each of the admit ticket consist a Unique Identification Number which is the candidate’s “registration number.

Note: The authority will not send the admit card either by post of email.



Results of LSAT will declare on its official website in the month of June. Candidates can view it after entering Login ID and Password. Pearson VUE do not issue rank lists, they pass the results to the LSAT marks considering law colleges in India. The candidates who scored high marks will get more preference than the candidates scored lowest marks. The participating institutes will shortlist the candidates and later invite them to attend a counseling secession. Finalist names will declare after the counseling process.


Candidates who are qualified in Law School Admission Test (LSAT) will be called for the counselling process of LSAT 2017.
