KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical) is a state level entrance examination for the admission to various colleges located in Kerala for Undergraduate (UG) programmes. The KEAM is conducted by the CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Examination) Kerala. The examination is also known as the CEE Kerala exam. Besides Kerala, it is also conducted on the various test centres like Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Shillong and Dubai (UAE). KEAM 2017 is conducted for the admission to various UG courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BSMS, B.Sc (Forestry), B.Sc (honors) agriculture, B.VSc (animal Husbandry), B.FSc and B.Tech (in all regular branches including agriculture, food engineering and dairy science and technology).

Eligibility Criteria

Nativity
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible for admission
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) can also apply
- Candidates seeking admission to Professional courses will be categorised as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II).

Academic

  • Medical & Allied Courses: Candidates who have passed +2 or equivalent examinations, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together.
  • Engineering courses: Candidates who have passed +2 or equivalent with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
  • Architecture course: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with 50% aggregate marks.

Age:
- Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2016.
- No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed.
- There is no upper age limit for KEAM–2017.

KEAM 2017 Application Form

Interested Applicants can apply for KEAM 2017 through the official website - www.cee.kerala.gov.in . The application fee for General candidates will be Rs 1000 and SC Rs 500. ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

The Admit Card for the Entrance Examination can be downloaded from the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in .

Paper Pattern

Time Duration: 2 & ½ Hours or 150 Minutes

(a) Papers for the Engineering Entrance Examination

Important Points

  • For Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations, each Paper will have 120 questions to be answered in 150 minutes.
  • For each correct response in the Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations, the candidates will be awarded FOUR marks
  • For each incorrect response, ONE mark will be deducted from the total score.
  • For No response, there will be no deduction

  • Check your Roll Number and know your Result
  • Download your Result and take a Printout of your Result with Marks
