B.Ed Entrance Test conducted by Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (J&K BOPEE). B.Ed.
Entrance Test take for admission in the Govt. College of Education, M.A. Road Srinagar or Govt. College of Education, Jammu. The candidates must be permanent residents of the State and eligible to appear in the Entrance Test under relevant rules. The selection of the candidates shall be governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination.
Eligibility for J&K BPEE B.Ed Entrance Test
1. The Applicant must:
(a) be a permanent resident of the State as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of J&K;
(b) have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.A. or equivalent examination from a recognised University/Institution according to 10+2+3 pattern; and
(c) have obtained not less than 45% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in open merit and not less than 40% of marks in aggregate in any reserved category.
2. The candidates appearing, or having appeared, in the qualifying examinations are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Test but they must have passed the qualifying examination and secured the percentage of marks as required at clause (c) above at the time of issuance of merit list for admission to the B.Ed. Course.
