Admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing and BPT (collectively called as UG courses) of this institution, are on the basis of merit obtained in the Admission Written Test (UG – AWT - 2011) conducted by Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society. All the admissions are made with the approval of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Punjab; of the Government as may be applicable; Medical Council of India (as may be applicable); Dental Council of India (as may be applicable); Punjab Nurses Registration Council and Indian Nursing Council (as may be applicable) and selection guidelines of the Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. These are subject to alterations, amendments and modifications as may be considered necessary from time to time by the authorities concerned. Candidates, when applying, are requested to specify the category they belong to, as given on page 10. The primary aim of the Christian Medical College Ludhiana is to make a significant contribution to the health standards of all communities of our nation with a special emphasis on health care in the rural underserved and unreached areas/communities in India. This mandate is fulfilled by graduates who serve in such areas after their training.

Online Application
The candidates can download the CMC UG AWT 2017 online application form from the CMC Ludhiana official website. After downloading the form, the same can be filled and submitted online which is to be followed by the submission of signed print out of application form (mandatory) along with required enclosures.

The candidates will be able to download their admit cards online from the CMC Ludhiana official website by May 2017. If they are not able to download the admit card by May 2017, the same should be immediately informed to the registrar’s office through email or fax. Therefore, no candidate will be allowed to appear for CMC UG AWT 2017 unless he/she holds the Admit Card.
The cut off score depends on difficulty level of exam, availability of seats, number of applicants, etc. Based on the cut-off score examination authority prepares the merit list and candidates are called for counselling. CBSE will prepare CMC Ludhiana UG AWT 2017 cut off score based on which candidates will be positioned in merit list as per their marks scored in the exam.
The candidates are required to enter their respective CMC Ludhiana UG AWT Exam 2017 Roll Number for checking their result and downloading of their scorecard. The result will furnish the rank secured by the candidates. Based on the result of CMC Ludhiana UG AWT Exam and the cutoff screening, eligible candidates would be selected for the next round of selection process. The selected candidates would be enlisted in a merit list and will be called for counselling cum allotment on the basis of appearance in the list.
