It was established under the ACT of UGC, under section 3. The university was approved by the Indian Government and was granted the category of Grade A amongst the colleges in India.. The university conducts a common entrance test in order to admit students every year to the B.tech and MCA program. Bharati Vidyapeeth University is an independent or better termed as deemed University was established in the year 1956. The University is amongst the most top ranked deemed institutes. The University was given a deemed status on April, 1996. The status was given by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The University presently undertake 12 institutes and after achieving the deemed status additional undertaken three more institutes.
