All India Law Entrance Test or simply AILET is an entrance test conducted by National Law University Delhi for law admissions in India. AILET is of 1 and 1/2 hour duration and AILET will have 150 questions for a total of 150 marks.

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - Five-Year Programme Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April can also apply.
LL.M. (One year) - LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May, for admission year can also apply.
Ph.D. Eligibility: LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent(50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability).

AILET 2017 shall be conducted in offline mode where the paper will have 150 questions of objective (Multiple-Choice Questions) nature.
Following are the subject-wise syllabus of the law admission test of NLU-D-
AILET English Syllabus: The English section will comprise of 35 questions from comprehension passages , synonyms, antonyms, choosing correct words, idioms and phrases, jumble words and sentences, fill-in the blanks, etc. The unseen passages will be tailed by questions related to the passage. The English section is meant to test the language skill and vocabulary of the candidates.
AILET General Knowledge Syllabus: The 35 questions of General Knowledge will cover the topics such as History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics and Current Affairs of the past one year. This section will assess your knowledge of the recent happenings and awareness of the world.
AILET Basic Mathematics Syllabus: This section will have 10 questions to test the numerical ability of candidates. The Mathematics questions will be set from 10th and 12th level, of various topics including Profit and Loss, Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Algebra, Average, Permutation and Combination and Venn Diagrams.
AILET Legal Aptitude Syllabus: The section will majorly test your interest towards study of law, research aptitude and problem solving ability. The 35 questions will be framed on legal propositions and set of facts satisfying the propositions. The propositions may not be true in real sense and you will have to assume the true proposition based on the set of facts and answer the questions accordingly.
AILET Reasoning Syllabus: There shall be as many as 35 questions testing your logical and analytical reasoning skills. You will come across some questions with passages and the reasoning questions will be framed on the information provided in the passages.
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)is conducted by National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) for admissions to as many as 81 seats in five-year integrated law programme.
AILET Admit Card will be issued online. The admit card of AILET will be issued as per schedule date. Those candidates who do not obtain the AILET hall ticket before the test will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. Candidate can download the AILET admit card online at nlu delhi website. Admit Card is a very important document. Candidate must present it on the day of exam. Details of candidate's roll number, test center and other information are printed on the hall ticket.
The cutoff of AILET 2017 will be the minimum marks to be scored by you for securing admissions in NLU Delhi for the five-year integrated law programme.
The Result of AILET 2017 will be declared in month of May 2017. NLU Delhi will be issuing AILET 2017 Results in the form of pdf. AILET Results will acknowledge about your qualifying status in the law admission test of NLU Delhi.
NLU-D will be conducting the counselling process for admissions to the undergraduate law programmes for the academic session 2017-22. AILET 2017 Counselling will be scheduled from the first week of June. As per the counselling process of AILET 2017, the candidates who will be qualifying as per the merit list will need to remit an admission fee within the stipulated time, failing which their admission shall stand rejected.
