A. programs of the Institute should have:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A Minimum 60% or CGPA\/CPI of 6.0 in 10 point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for UR\/OBC candidates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 55% or CGPA\/CPI of 5.5 in 10-point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for SC\/ST\/PwD candidates. OR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An applicant must have an undergraduate degree in Engineering \/ Technology \/ Science \/ Commerce \/ Management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates seeking admission to M. A. programs of the Institute should have:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 60% or CGPA\/CPI of 6.0 in 10 point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for UR\/OBC candidates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 55% or CGPA\/CPI of 5.5 in 10-point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for SC\/ST \/PwD candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;Online application form is required to be submitted through an online portal, which will remain available on the IIT(ISM) website&nbsp;<strong>www.iitism.ac.in&nbsp;<\/strong>from March 10, 2024 to April 30, 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After filling the form, the candidates are advised to take a print of the application and keep the same for record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Fee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For UR\/EWS\/OBC-NCL candidates : Rs.1000\/-<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SC\/ST\/PWD\/Transgender candidates : Rs. 500\/-<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mode of Payment : Paid through online payment gateway only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The selection depends on the number of vacancies and performance of the candidate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selection process will be done in two phases \u2013 1. Written Test and 2. Interview.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Written Test<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Written test will be of ONE HOUR duration and consist of 50 multiple choice-questions (MCQs) at IIT-ISM Campus on the designated date and time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Question paper will be of 100 marks with the following approximate pattern:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Section A \u2013 English and Reading Comprehension \u2013 40 % Weightage&nbsp; \u2013 20 Questions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Section B \u2013 Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude \u2013 50% Weightage \u2013 25 Questions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Section C \u2013 Computer &amp; Information Technology \u2013 10% Weightage \u2013 5 Questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Interview will be conducted by a selection committee and will consist of 100 marks. Interview will assess the communications skill, general social science knowledge as well as clarity of thought of the candidate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NOTE: Tentatively, the result of the written test will be announced on the same day and the interview will commence from the next day onwards.
