Highly motivated students are invited to apply for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program for the academic session 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-iia-bangalore-phd-admission\">IIA Bangalore PhD Admission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Dates:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online Applications Open: September 27, 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online Applications Close: October 23, 2023, at 05:30 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You are eligible to apply if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You have qualified for JRF in the NET\/CSIR\/UGC exam (2022, 2023 onwards), or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scored 95.00 percentile or above in the JEST (2023), or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scored 95.00 percentile or above in GATE (2022, 2023) <strong>Note:<\/strong> Scores must be valid at the time of admission. Candidates applying for the IIA-PhD program based on their GATE \/ JEST score must have qualified in the PHYSICS paper of GATE \/ JEST. <strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Percentile = [(T-R)\/T]*100, where T = Total number of candidates, and R = All India Rank. Please refer to the GATE \/ JEST scorecard for T &amp; R. <strong>Important:<\/strong> Our admission criteria also require the candidate to have scored an aggregate of 60% marks or above throughout their academic career.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Age Limit: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Maximum 28 years as of October 30, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iiap.res.in\/\">https:\/\/www.iiap.res.in\/<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible candidates are required to first register on our site. Please enter your name and provide a valid e-mail address for registration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please provide all details of the marks\/GPA for all examinations taken so far. Please normalize the GPA to 100%, i.e., if the GPA is out of 10, multiply by 10, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please verify that you have filled in your postal and e-mail addresses and phone numbers correctly. If you are called for an interview, the call letter will be sent to your email. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When uploading scanned documents, please ensure that all scanned documents are clear and readable. For any queries, please contact: <a href=\"mailto:iiast@iiap.res.in\">iiast@iiap.res.in<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Admission Process: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only short-listed candidates will be interviewed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interview will be held online only (by audio-visual \/audio means). In case of difficulty in holding the interview, candidates will be selected based on their academic record. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the worst case, the admission process is likely to be suspended.
