However, the University shall notify the exact final schedule for the GGSIPU CET 2026 and also for the commencement of enrollment process (payment of Counselling Participation Fee).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Courses Offered via IPU CET vs. National Exams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>GGSIPU accepts scores from various national exams. It is crucial to know if your desired course requires the IPU CET or a different entrance test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-admissions-via-national-level-tests\">Admissions via National Level Tests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Engineering (B.Tech):<\/strong> Based on <strong><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indcareer.com\/en\/jee-main\/\"   title=\"JEE Main\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"498\">JEE Main<\/a> Paper 1<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medical (MBBS\/BDS\/BAMS\/BHMS):<\/strong> Based on <strong>NEET UG 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Law (BA LLB\/BBA LLB):<\/strong> Based on <strong>CLAT UG<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Architecture (B.Arch):<\/strong> Based on <strong>NATA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Management (MBA):<\/strong> Based on <strong>CAT 2025\/CMAT<\/strong> (IPU CET is conducted only if seats remain vacant).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>UG Programs (BCA\/BBA\/B.Com):<\/strong> Priority is often given to <strong>CUET<\/strong> scores, though IPU CET is also conducted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-admissions-via-ipu-cet-2026\">Admissions via IPU CET 2026<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The university conducts its own CET for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lateral Entry to B.Tech<\/strong> (for Diploma holders and B.Sc graduates).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M.Tech<\/strong> (for non-GATE candidates).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M.A.<\/strong> (Mass Communication, English, Criminology).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M.Sc<\/strong> (Nursing, Environment Management, Forensic Science).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Ed and M.Ed<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paramedical Courses<\/strong> (BPT, BPO, B.Sc. MLT, BASLP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria for 2026-2027<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for IPU CET 2026, candidates must meet the following general and course-specific requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nationality:<\/strong> Indian citizens (Foreign nationals must apply through the specific international quota).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minimum Age:<\/strong> For UG courses, the age should generally be between <strong>17 to 21 years<\/strong>. For PG courses, the upper limit is usually <strong>35 years<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course-Specific Criteria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BCA:<\/strong> Pass in <strong>10+2<\/strong> (CBSE or equivalent) with <strong>50% marks<\/strong> in aggregate, including English and Mathematics\/Computer Science\/Information Practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MBA:<\/strong> A recognized <strong>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree<\/strong> in any discipline with at least <strong>50% marks<\/strong>. (Link to: Top MBA Colleges under IPU).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Tech (Lateral Entry):<\/strong> Three-year diploma in relevant Engineering branch with minimum <strong>60% aggregate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>B.Sc Nursing:<\/strong> 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least <strong>50% aggregate marks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>LLM:<\/strong> LLB Degree with not less than <strong>50% marks<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"post-graduate-programmes\">Post Graduate Programmes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MBA<\/strong><br>&#8211; Any recognised Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR<br>&#8211; Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognised as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR<br>&#8211; Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MCA<\/strong><br>&#8211; Bachelor&#8217;s Degree of a recognised University in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed Mathematics and English (core or elective or functional) at least at the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE or any other Examination recognised as equivalent thereto. OR<br>&#8211; BCA\/BIT\/BIS of a recognised University of at least three years duration with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognised as equivalent thereto. OR<br>&#8211; Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Engineering or Technology or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in aggregate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Arts (Mass Communication)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with aggregate of 50% marks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MPT<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme (BPT) of 4\u00bd years duration (including internship) with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University. OR<br>&#8211; Pass in Bachelor of Physiotherapy\/B.Sc. (Physiotherapy) of 3\u00bd years duration (including internship) with 50% marks in aggregate and bridge course of one year with 50% marks from a recognised University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master Occupational Therapy (MOT)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Prosthetics and Orthotics<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in Bachelor of Prosthetics &amp; Orthotics programme (BPO) with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Public Health (MPH)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates possessing MBBS degree from any recognised institution are eligible to apply for the course. In-service personnel with the above qualification, working in health Institutions\/ organisation in Central\/State Govt. or Public Sector having 5 years experience, of which at least 3 years should be in Public Health activities are eligible. Such candidates, at the time of counselling for admission, would need to furnish a letter from their employer that if they are admitted, they would be relieved for 2 years for undertaking the course on a full-time basis at the admitted<br>institution. Admission will be done on All India Basis and the guidelines of Govt. of India, applicable to Central Govt. Educational Institutions will be followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Science (MSc)<\/strong><br>&#8211; B.Sc. Degree or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR<br>&#8211; B.Sc.(Engg.), B.Tech. or B.E. in Civil\/Chemical\/ Agricultural Engg Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Laws (LLM)<\/strong><br>&#8211; LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University, with not less than 50% marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Education (MEd)<\/strong><br>Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:<br>1. B.Ed. 2. B.A. B.Ed. 3. B.Sc. B.Ed. 4. B.El. Ed. 5. D.El. Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master in Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management<\/strong><br>The candidates eligible to apply for the Master Degree Courses should be a Graduate (3 years degree course) in any subject of Humanities, Commerce or Sciences (those appearing in the 3rd year final exam may also apply. The student must be a graduate from an Indian or recognised foreign university or have passed an examination recognised as equivalent to a degree and possesses such other qualifications as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master in Archaeology and Heritage Management<\/strong><br>The candidates eligible to apply for the Master Degree Courses should be a Graduate (3 years degree course) in any subject of Humanities,<br>Commerce or Sciences (those appearing in the 3rd year final exam may also apply. The student must be a graduate from an Indian or recognised foreign university or have passed an examination recognised as equivalent to a degree and possesses such other qualifications as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master in Philosophy (M.Phil)<\/strong><br>&#8211; M.A.\/M.Sc. degree in Psychology or equivalent from a University recognised by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate preferably with special paper in Clinical Psychology.<br>&#8211; The CET shall be followed by an interview, of the qualified candidates of the CET, for admission to this programme. Weightage of marks will be 90% for CET and 10% for the interview and practical, as per RCI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Computer Applications (Dual Degree)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics &amp; Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry \/ Biotechnology \/ Biology \/ Technical Vocational subject and should obtain at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together. The candidate should also have passed English separately in the qualifying examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Master of Computer Applications (MCA Lateral Entry)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Bachelor of Computer Applications \/ B.Sc. (Information Technology) \/ B.Sc.(Computer Science) degree with mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or graduate level from a University recognised by the UGC with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"graduation-level\">Graduation Level<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* with pass in English (core or elective or functional)<br>and Mathematics or Computer Science \/ Informatics Practice \/ Computer Applications \/ Multimedia &amp; Web Technology \/ Data Management Application \/ Web Application. OR<br>&#8211; Three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a<br>recognised examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BSc Nursing<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics,<br>Chemistry, Biology provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately. The candidate must also have passed English (core or elective<br>or functional) in the qualifying examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LLB<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or<br>functional) as a subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BEd<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates with at least 50% marks either in Bachelors degree and\/or in the Master&#8217;s degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. OR<br>Bachelor&#8217;s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.<br><strong>Note:<\/strong><br>Candidates having fulfilled the eligibility conditions, as mentioned above may opt for any two teaching methodology subjects, as per details are given below for graduates and post graduates.<br>(I) Graduate: Candidates must have passed at least two subjects out of the following list of the teaching methodology subjects as mentioned below:<br>(i) English (ii) Hindi (iii) Urdu (iv) Punjabi (v) Sanskrit (vi) Mathematics (vii) Integrated Science (viii) Social Science<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BPT, BPO, B.Sc. (MLT), BASLP, BAMS, BHMS<\/strong><br><strong>For programmes other than Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine &amp; Surgery:<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject of study in the qualifying examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine &amp; Surgery:<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th class examination under 10+2 system conducted by recognised Board\/University<br>with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and securing minimum 60% marks aggregate in these subjects, will be eligible. A<br>candidate also must have passed in English as a subject of study (core, elective or functional) in the qualifying examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BBA &amp; Allied Programmes<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or<br>functional) as a subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Arts (Journalism &amp; Mass Communication)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or<br>functional) as a subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Hotel Management &amp; Catering Technology<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed in English (core or elective<br>or functional) as a subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)<\/strong><br>&#8211; 50% in aggregate in 10+2 examination \/ senior school certificate examination of C.B.S.E . as minimum marks for admission to B.Com with a pass in five subjects (One language and four elective subjects) or an examination recognised as equivalent to that.<br>(i) Pre-University Examination (Two years after ten years of schooling) of an Indian school \/ college. OR<br>Intermediate Examination of an Indian University \/ Board or an Examination recognised as equivalent to that (Pass in Five written subjects)<br>(ii) Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (Pass in<br>Five written subjects).<br>(iii) Examination of a foreign University \/ Board which is recognised as equivalent to 10+2 CBSE examination\/or Indian university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Science (Yoga)<\/strong><br>Pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or Equivalent with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks<br>in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English as<br>a subject of study (core, elective or functional) in the qualifying examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B.Sc. (Medical Technology -Radio Technology)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided the candidate has<br>passed in each subject separately. A candidate also must have passed in English (core or elective or function) as a subject of studies in the<br>qualifying examination. OR<br>&#8211; Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology after passing in 12th class of CBSE or equivalent with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry<br>and Biology provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately, having minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Radiotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ug-amp-pg-medical-programmes-2\">UG &amp; PG Medical Programmes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Medicine &amp; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology\/Biotechnology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology \/Biotechnology and English (40% in case of SC\/ST\/OBC candidate, subject to availability of seat for these categories in the respective institutions)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (Core or Elective or Functional) individually and must have<br>obtained a minimum of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (40% in case of SC\/ST\/OBC candidate, subject to availability<br>of the seat for these categories in the respective institutions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Post Graduate Medical Degree\/ Diploma<\/strong><br>The Candidate should have obtained permanent registration with the MCI or any of the State Medical Council. Only candidates who have obtained their MBBS degree from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi are eligible to appear in the CET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>D.M.(Cardiology)<\/strong><br>Candidates should have qualified MD \/ DNB (Medicine \/ Paediatrics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M.Ch. (CTVS)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates should have qualified MS General Surgery\/DNB General Surgery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M.Ch.(Neuro Surgery)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates should have qualified MS General Surgery\/DNB General Surgery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DM (Neurology)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates should have qualified MD \/ DNB (Medicine \/ Paediatrics)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M.Ch.(Burns, Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates should have qualified MS General Surgery\/DNB General Surgery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DM (Pulmonary &amp; Critical Care Medicine)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates should have qualified MD (General Medicine \/Pulmonary Medicine \/ Paediatrics \/Chest) \/ DNB (General Medicine \/PM\/Paediatrics \/ Chest)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M.Ch (Paediatrics Surgery)<\/strong><br>&#8211; Candidates should have qualified MS General Surgery\/DNB General Surgery<br><strong>M.Ch.
