Eligibility Criteria
Engineering – Uttaranchal College of Polytechnic (UCP)
- Diploma (Polytechnic) (ME, CE, EE, CSE): Candidate who has secured minimum 45% marks in 10th examination with Science in case of general category and 40% marks in case of SC/ST.
- Diploma (Lateral Entry) (ME, CE, EE): 10+2 with Physics, Maths, Chemistry or Computer Science with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) or 10th with 2 years ITI Certificate.
Engineering – Uttaranchal Institute of Technology
- B.Tech: 10+ 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Math (PCM) and Minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category).
- B.Tech (Lateral Entry): 3 years diploma or B.Sc with PCM and Minimum 50% marks(45% marks in case of SC/ST category)/
Agriculture – Uttaranchal College of Agricultural Science (UCAS)
- B.Sc. Agriculture: 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM or equivalent and Minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category).
- M.Sc. Agriculture (Plant Pathology): B.Sc. Agri. /B.Sc. Forestry/B.Sc. Horticulture/B.Sc. with CBZ (Chemistry. Botany, Zoology) combination and Minimum marks 55% for general category and 50% for SC/ST
Law – Law College Dehradun (LCD)
- BA LLB: 10+2 Examination /equivalent with minimum 45% marks for General, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST Category.
- BBA LLB: Graduates with minimum 45% marks for General, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST Category.
- LLM: 3-years/5 years Graduate Degree in Law with minimum 50% marks for General, 45% for SC/ST Category.
Management – Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM)
- B.Com. BBA, BCA, BHM & BSc IT: 10+2/10+2 Examination in Mathematics/English with minimum 45% marks for General, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST Category.
- MBA: Graduate Degree with minimum 50% marks for General, 45% for SC/ST Category with valid MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT/UUEE Score/Percentile.
- MCA: BCA/ BSc IT /equivalent Degree with minimum 45% marks for General, 40% for SC/ST Category.
Applied & Life Sciences – Uttaranchal College of Applied & Life Sciences (UCALS)
- B.Sc. Forestry: 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks in PCB/PCM (40% in case of SC/ST category).
- B.Sc. Agriculture: 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM or equivalent. Minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category).
- B.Sc. Horticulture: 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM/Agriculture or equivalent. Minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category)
- B.Sc. Biotechnology (Hons.): 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM/Biotechnology or equivalent. Minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category)
- B.Sc. Food Technology (Hons.): 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM. Minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST category)
- B.Sc. Physics (Hons.): 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM .Minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST category)

- M.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry), (Chemistry): B.Sc. degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) and Chemistry as one of the subjects in all the three years, shall be eligible.
Pharmaceutical – Uttaranchal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS)
- D.Pharm. – 2 Years: 10+2 / equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics/ Biology.
- B.Pharm. – 4 Years: 10+2 examination with PCB/PCM. Minimum marks 45% for general category and 40% for SC/ST category.
- B.Pharm. (lateral Entry) – 3 Years: A pass in D.Pharm. course from an institution approved by the pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. Admission on merit of D.Pharm. percentage.
- PhD. Programmes: Master’s Degree in concerned stream with 55% marks for general category and 50% for SC/ST category.
