Eligibility
(A) A candidate for appearing in the Entrance Examination for M.Ch course will be eligible if he/she:
i) is a citizen of India
ii) Has completed atleast three academic year previously and passed MS (General Surgery) examination from Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS Rohtak/ M.D. University, Rohtak/M.M. University, Mullana or any other University recognized for this purpose before the date of 1st counselling
iii) is registered permanently with State Medical Council/MCI at the time of admission iv) possesses a certificate of good conduct from the head of the institution last attended
(B) A candidate for appearing in the entrance examination for D.M. course will be eligible if he/she:
i) is a citizen of India
ii) Has completed atleast three academic years previously and passed MD (General Medicine)/MD (Paediatrics)/MD (Resp. Medicine) examination from Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS Rohtak/ M.D. University, Rohtak/M.M. University, Mullana or any other University recognized for this purpose before the date of 1st counseling iii) is registered permanently with State Medical Council/MCI at the time of admission iv) possesses a certificate of good conduct from the head of the institution last attended
M.Ch/DM Fees
(a) He/She will have to pay the Bond Money Rs.5, 00,000/- for M.Ch/DM for which Bond shall be executed at the time of admission
b) He/She will be debarred for next three years for applying for admission to any Super Specialities in these institutions
Duration of Course
The period of training for obtaining M.Ch/DM Degrees shall be three completed years including the period of examination
Apply procedure
The application form duly complete in all respects in the candidate’s own handwriting should reach the office of the Controller of Exam, Pt./B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohta.
It can be delivered either personally or be sent under registered post candidates already in employment should send their application through proper channel incomplete application or applications received after the closing date and time will not be considered the university takes no responsibility for any postal delay in the receipt or loss of application in transit
Candidates who have not done MD/MS from Pt. B.D Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak must submit a Haryana Resident Certificate in original (as per Annexure A and B), the certificate of Haryana resident which is not in the prescribed proforma, will not be accepted

As per conditions laid down by the MCI, the candidates who secure less than 50% marks in the entrance examination shall not be eligible for admission to the Super Specialty Courses
For M.Ch/D.M. Course admission would be made strictly on the basis of merit of the eligible candidates determined by marks obtained in the written test which will be of two and half hours duration comprising of 180 multiple choice questions carrying 45% marks
The candidates will be provided with a sealed test questions booklet and an OMR/answer sheet The seal will be opened by the candidate on the announcement by the invigilator and not before that time Writing of particulars the candidate must fill up the required information in including Roll No., Centre of Exam, test question booklet Marking of answer sheet full credit, i.e. one fourth marks (1/4) will be given for each correct answer
