SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), (formerly known as SRM University) begins the online registration process for the B.Tech entrance exam, SRMJEEE 2023 (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination). Qualifying in SRMJEEE provides entry to all the campuses of SRMIST located at Kattankulathur (Main Campus), Ramapuram, Delhi – NCR, Vadapalani and Trichy, SRM University, Sonepat– Haryana and SRM University, Andhra Pradesh. Admissions to the B. Tech program is only through the common entrance exam, SRMJEEE 2023, which will be held through Remote Proctored Online Mode in 3 Phases during the months of April and June, and July.

SRMJEEE Exam
About
- The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE 2023) will be conducted by SRM University for admission to undergraduate engineering (B.Tech ) programs. The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination will be held on the First or Second week of April 2023 in 132 Test Centres and 05 International Test Centres at national level.
- SRMJEEE is common for all four campuses of SRMIST – Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Ghaziabad and SRM – AP, Amaravathi and SRM – Haryana, Sonepat. All Programs in Engineering of Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad campuses are approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria
- A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing for Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects in the full-time stream from any State Board, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology /Biotechnology as major subjects from any international school.
- Candidates who have completed both 10th Standard as well as 12th Standard in NIOS, are not considered for admission to any programme of SRM.
- Minimum eligibility criteria in PCM / PCB for each campus and programme posted in the official website of the respective universities.
Application Process
- SRMJEEE 2023 is mandatory for the applicant who wish to join B.Tech Programs
- Eligible candidates can apply for SRMJEEE 2023 through online mode at www.srmuniv.ac.in & https://applications.srmist.edu.in/btech#anima_1
- The online application is for admission to B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and NCR), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University – Andhra Pradesh.
- Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.
Application Fee
- Application Form Fee is Rs.1200/ – and it is Non-Refundable
- If the candidate wishes to take SRMJEEE exam more than one time, then the applicant has to pay INR 600 for each phase
- An applicant prefers to take the entrance exam in all the three phases of SRMJEEE then he/she has to pay INR 1200+600+600.

Admit Card
- The candidates have to download the admit card from the website https://applications.srmist.edu.in/
- Admit cards will only be released for the candidates who have submitted the application form on or before the last date. The Admit Card contains the important details regarding the exams like examination time, venue and instruction which candidates must follow during the examination time.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be invited for a counseling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG) 2023.
- Common counseling for Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University – AP and Sonepat Campus of SRM University – Haryana will be held at any one or multiple campuses.
- Candidates will be invited for a counseling session based on the Rank obtained in SRMJEEE.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket
SRMJEEE Admit card will be available to those candidates who have submitted the application form successfully in the prescribed format and within the given deadline. The Admit card contains important information related to the test. Candidates are advised to carefully check the details and inform the concerned authority in case any sorts of discrepancy have found.
SRMJEEE Result
The SRMJEEE result will be declared along with the Rank list in the month of July 2021. The exact date will be available soon. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website www.srmuniv.ac.in. Successful students will get SMS notification of result with their rank.
Counselling
The allotment of seats and branch will be done during the Counselling process. The seats are allotted to successful candidates based on their performance in SRMJEEE 2023. The SRMJEEE 2023 counseling will be held online as well as offline on the campus of the University.
