The SRMJEEE is an entrance examination conducted for admission to B.Tech programs at SRMIST Kattankulathur, SRMIST Ramapuram, SRMIST Vadapalani, and SRMIST Delhi-NCR Ghaziabad (Sonepat, Haryana). The term “SRMJEEE” stands for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination. This University-level test is administered by SRMIST, which is the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. SRMJEEE is common for all four campuses of SRMIST – Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Ghaziabad, and SRM – AP, Amaravathi, and SRM – Haryana, Sonepat. All Programs in Engineering of Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, and Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad campuses are approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

• A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing for Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects in the full-time stream from any State Board, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology /Biotechnology as major subjects from any international school.
• Candidates who have completed both 10th Standard as well as 12th Standard in NIOS, are not considered for admission to any programme of SRM.
• Minimum eligibility criteria in PCM / PCB for each campus and programme posted in the official website of the respective universities.

Application Process

• SRMJEEE is mandatory for the applicant who wish to join B.Tech Programs
• Eligible candidates  can apply for SRMJEEE through online mode at www.srmuniv.ac.in  & https://applications.srmist.edu.in/btech#anima_1
• The online application is for admission to B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram and NCR), SRM University – Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University – Andhra Pradesh.
• Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances.

The application fee for SRMJEEE 2026 is standardized across all categories. Whether you are applying for the Kattankulathur main campus or any other regional campus, the cost remains the same.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be invited for a counseling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG) 2023.
• Common counseling for Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University – AP and Sonepat Campus of SRM University – Haryana will be held at any one or multiple campuses.
• Candidates will be invited for a counseling session based on the Rank obtained in SRMJEEE.

Note: Negative mark of 1′ for every wrong answer in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics and ‘0.7’ for every wrong answer in Biology

Counselling

The allotment of seats and branch will be done during the Counselling process. The seats are allotted to successful candidates based on their performance in SRMJEEE. The SRMJEEE counseling will be held online as well as offline on the campus of the University.
