About MBA
- MIT-WPU’s MBA programme is an intensive, two-year, master’s level degree programme designed to prepare students for general management and executive leadership roles in business, organizations and more. Students are immersed in active learning experiences and exposed to the practical tools and skills needed to thrive in their professional endeavours. You’ll learn from recognised faculty members, many of whom have decades of experience in the field of teaching as well as working in reputed corporates and they bring in their practical experience in the learning matrix for you to acquire management insights from actual scenarios.
- With this programme, you will develop analytical and critical thinking, which you can apply to management techniques from a range of disciplines. You will gain insight into the nature of management and the complexity of organisations from a variety of viewpoints, and will be armed with the relevant knowledge to apply management theory to practice. Group work and presentations – often based on real-life companies/scenarios, rural immersion programmes allow practical application of theory and develop the teamwork and communication skills that are expected in the workplaces of today.

Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply:
1. Passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only)
2. Obtained non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority like CAT 2021, XAT 2022, NMAT 2022, GMAT 2022, CMAT 2022, MAH-CET 2022, PERA & MAT Sept 2021 onwards will be accepted.
3. Final-year Graduation candidates are also eligible to apply for MBA, provided they present the proof of completion of the Graduation degree within the duration specified by the University.
Selection Criteria
It is a must for any candidate applying for MBA to have a valid non zero score in the following National Level Test conducted by an apex testing body. For the admission into the current batch intake of MBA 2022-24, the valid test scores of CAT 2021, XAT 2022, NMAT 2022, GMAT 2022, CMAT 2022, MAH-CET 2022, PERA & MAT Sept 2021 onwards will be accepted.
The candidates will be evaluated for 100 marks as per the breakup below.
- Entrance Exam Score – 10%
- Group Discussion (GD)/ Extempore – 25%
- Personal Interview (PI) – 25%
- Past Academic Record (SSC 10% and HSC 10%) – 20%
- Statement of Purpose (SOP) – 15%
- Work Experience – 5%
- The Provisional Merit List of the shortlisted students will be displayed University website / Candidate login
- For the selected candidates, a provisional offer letter of admission will be sent on registered
email id with the detailed link for payment of first instalment.
